When 5-year old Bryan Popin (Poe-pin) began playing piano, he had no idea that in just a few short years, God would use his extraordinary musical talents in a profound position of ministry.  At age seven, Bryan performed concerts with his mother.  At age 12, he dedicated his life to serving the Lord through his musical gift, and performed his first full concert alone.  He then started ministering at concerts and conferences, performing from two to four each month.

Still a young man, Bryan became a licensed minister after graduating from ACTS Bible School.  He has now been in full-time ministry since the age of 18.  All though many people will be entertained, Bryan's heart is ministry.  His musical gifts have opened many doors of opportunity, and his ministry has grown beyond his wildest imaginations.  A concert pianist/ worship leader/ composer/ arranger/ producer, Bryan's talents and devotion to God have not gone unnoticed.

Bryan will never forget a pivotal turning point in his life when one evening Christian pianist Dino surprised Bryan and called him up on stage to perform during his concert.  Dino felt lead to publicly pray for Bryan.  From that point on, God increased Bryan's musical abilities tremendously.  He was suddenly able to memorize, improvise, play by ear, arrange and produce instrumental backgrounds via the computer skills Bryan did not possess prior to this prayer. Bryan knew that his life and talent had been touched by God's hand when that night he was able to play 55 pages of classical music from memory.  This brought Bryan to tears since this was something he could never do before.  At that very moment, Bryan accepted the calling on his life.  You will now find Bryan singing and leading people into joyful praise and intimate worship at his ministry concerts.

Moved by Bryan's talent and dedication to the Lord, Dove Award winning artists Reba Rambo & Dony McGuire invited Bryan to accompany them on tour in 1990.  Bryan spent five summers on the road as part of the Rambo\McGuire Ministry, performing at venues across the country nearly every night of the week.

The hand of the Lord continues to open doors of opportunity for Bryan's ministry.  His concert schedule remains quite busy, flying across the country is getting to be a normal activity.  Yamaha even provides grand pianos for many of Bryan's concerts.  Bryan ministers frequently at Bishop Jakes' The Potter's House in Dallas, Pastor Tommy Barnett's Phoenix First Assembly and at Bishop Don Meares' Evangel Church, where he is featured during their 14-performance Christmas production.  He has ministered with Bishop Jakes at the National Women's Conference, has opened and played with renowned trumpeter Phil Driscoll, and has performed on "The 700 Club", "Trinity Broadcasting Network" (TBN) and many others.  He has appeared in 49 of the 50 United States, in Canada and in The West Indies.  A famous Nigerian Archbishop chose Bryan to be his special guest psalmist because of the strong anointing present on Bryan's life.  Bryan has also appeared as an artist at the "Christian Artists' Seminar in the Rockies", where he performed with Jars of Clay, Dino, Steve Camp, Dick and Melodie Tunney and Scott Wesley Brown.  Some say that Bryan appeals to both the young and to those that are young at heart.  One of the greatest letters this ministry we has ever received was from a struggling Baptist church in Florida overwhelmed at how Bryan "was able to not only immediately capture the hearts of people, but so humbly and so effortlessly usher us into the presence of God... Bryan was able to not only relate to the young, but to those that are young at heart.  He played a variety of songs which appealed to us all and the greatest of all was to see so many people re-dedicate their lives back to God."

Bryan has released eight albums. The first, Gifts From Above, was recorded at age 14 and is a collection of Bryan's own arrangements of classic hymns.  Sounds of Glory and Love That Never Dies contain fully orchestrated collections of Bryan's compositions along with some contemporary and standard Christian favorites.  His fourth album, Acoustic Expressions, was formed by many requests for a piano project to accompany prayer.  It features Bryan playing sacred hymns and worship songs quietly and peacefully continuously in the studio.  It also embraces some classical selections and some original pieces arranged by Bryan on the fly in the studio.  Bryan's fifth album, Full Circle, was released in 2001.  It features some contemporary originals and praise songs with a classical flair.  After being inspired by some of the nation's greatest speakers, Bryan felt lead to compose a few songs that symbolized this great experience like the original song, "Power."  This album also features some great standards like "My Tribute" and "I Surrender All."  After studying Beethoven for many years, Bryan arranged a joyous orchestration of "Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee."  Bryan's sixth project, Joy... in the midst of the storm, is a journey of urban gospel music, to classical, to peaceful piano arrangements.  This album has ministered to thousands across the country.  Bryan now works with choirs and orchestras/bands at churches all over with great worshipful arrangements of "My Life Is In Your Hands" and "Breathe."  This album has been an inspiration to many.  Through life's experiences, Bryan has found that worship is a lifestyle and one can definitely take notice of that fact when listening to this project.  Bryan recently finished recording his seventh album, Classics, featuring some of Bryan's favorite classic hymns like "Jesus Loves Me", "Because He Lives", "Amazing Grace" and "What A Friend We Have In Jesus" along with other Broadway themed compositions that Bryan has learned to not only play, but love... "Somewhere Out There", "Memory", "All I Ask Of You" and Patriotic songs held close to all of our hearts... "God Bless America" and "Battle Hymn Of The Republic."  This project is just Bryan and a grand piano.  Some say it's his best yet... Following this project is Bryan's eighth studio album/project, Christmas Favorites. This project has been long overdue, but extremely well received as Bryan's first Christmas project. It offers a wide variety of styles including a Latin feel to "I'm Dreaming Of A White Christmas" & "We Wish You A Merry Christmas", a big band version of "Greensleeves" & "Hark The Herald Angels Sing." This project will help usher you into the Christmas season as it includes mostly all loved Christmas carols and worship choruses. Including "O Come Let Us Adore Him", "O Holy Night", "The First Noel", "Silent Night" and a medley of others.

Audiences and congregations of all ages have enjoyed Bryan's energetic musical performances, creative arrangements, and original orchestrations.  He continues to add to his now current roster of over 200 original compositions. While his musical style has often been compared to a mixture of Dino and urban Gospel artist Kirk Franklin, Bryan's goal is "to bring a unique style to the piano that has never been brought before.  I truly want my concerts/services to be uplifting and exciting, but more important than anything, I want people to be ministered to," Bryan says.  "I want them to see and feel Jesus' love and compassion through a true worshipful experience... far beyond just a concert and far beyond just being entertained."
